About me
Hi! I'm Kathy.
How can I help you today?
Hi, I’m Kathy. I’m passionate about helping individuals and their families who are struggling with substance use or addictive behaviors to recognize in themselves a different way to deal with life's difficulties. If you have found yourself escaping from your day to day life with the help of substances or other unhealthy behaviors, and now struggle with the fear, resentment, anger or embarrassment that are associated with these behaviors, I want to be a part of your change.

ABOUT ME
MY APPROACH
I believe in an integrative, individualized approach to therapy that specifically focuses on using the clients’ own strengths to build a plan for successful, healthy living. My approach is the balance of compassion and empathy with honest feedback and accountability. By meeting you where you are, I can help you to develop a plan that offers collaborative support, education on the disease of addiction, healthy management of emotions, establish healthy boundaries, manage cravings, connect to resources, and provide healing that leads to improving your relationships and overall wellbeing. Our time together will be a place for you to learn, grow, and leave shame in the past to achieve the life you desire.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
Our lives bring us so many uncomfortable situations and emotions that are sometimes hard to deal with. I want to help you discover who you really are and uncover in yourself a way to work through these situations rather than try to escape from them. I’ll meet you right where you are with a safe, non judgmental space to talk through your thoughts and feelings. Together we can work to understand your unique situation and begin creating a safe space for clarity and emotional recovery.

Individual and Couples Therapy
Many people experience mental health issues while battling an unhealthy relationship with drugs or alcohol. These two things interact in a way that often complicates treatment.
Our therapists work hard to create an environment of safety and trust so that you can work through difficulties of the past or present while learning the tools you'll need to succeed in the future.
We are trained in a variety of approaches including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions. We work together as a cohesive team to treat a wide variety of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and more. Our providers will collaborate with you to create a treatment approach that best fits your needs.
