What is "Alcohol and drug counseling"?
Substance Use Counseling is a type of therapy that helps individuals and their loved ones manage alcohol and/or drug misuse. It involves working with our counselors to identify the root causes of misuse, develop healthy coping strategies and help create a plan for recovery. The goal of substance use counseling is to help individuals and their families cope with and manage the misuse of drugs and alcohol and to develop strategies to maintain recovery. It is a safe and confidential space where individuals and their loved ones can receive support and genuine guidance on the journey to recovery. We provide a safe and supportive environment to explore the root causes of substance misuse and work to improve the overall quality of life.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy
"CBT" is one of the gold standards of therapy. It's based on the idea that our thoughts effect our emotions, which in turn effect our behavior and vice-versa. If we learn to notice and work with our thoughts, that has a big impact on how we feel and what we're able to do.
